As
a principal of the firm, Marjorie
Bing Stanislaw, with
30-years experience in law-enforcement and public relations, has
worked throughout her career to enable organizations and communities
to realize their goals. She has served as the Community and Media
Relations Subcommittee chairwoman for Westmoreland County’s
Balanced and Restorative Justice Team where she facilitated the
Jeannette Community Justice Project as well as spearheading other
community initiatives. A member of the East Hills Community
Restorative Project, she consulted concerning planning and
assessement in the revitalization of that Pittsburgh neighborhood.
She is a member of the Westmoreland County Circles Initiatve, a
community driven initative which works to assist families to improve
their economic status and also addresses systemic issues of poverty
at a grassroots level. Margie has presented workshops both
nationally and internationally in regard to the Restorative Justice
topics as well as the importance of planning process for initiatives
and projects. Margie also provides public relations services and
consulting for a number of organizations.
Margie
has certificates from the International Institute of Cultural Affairs
in Strategic Planning, Consensus Building, and the Focused Group
Conversation method, from Humanext in Diversity training and Heart
and Mind Learning, and is a certified trainer through Aha!Process in
the Bridges Out of
Poverty and Getting
Ahead in a Just Getting By World
cirriculums. She is featured on the Leading
Edge—a web
section of RestorationJustice.org—the website of Prison Fellowship
International’s Center for Justice and Reconciliation where she is
recognized internationally as a restorative justice practitioner.
Also, Marjorie is the receipient of the Pennsylvania Juvenile Court
Judge’s Commissions Support Service Award, Westmoreland County
Community Action’s Community Service Award, and the NAACP’s
Community Service Award.

Principal
Kristine M. Johnson
is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts
in Social Work and a Master of Science in Administration of Justice
from Shippensburg University, and presently serves as an adjunct
professor at a local college. Kristine has presented workshops both
nationally and internationally in regard to the Restorative Justice
topics as well as the importance of planning process for initiatives
and projects. She is a member of the Westmoreland County Circles
Initiatve, a community driven initative which works to assist
families to improve their economic status and also addresses systemic
issues of poverty at a grassroots level. Throughout her career in
counseling, program, and community development, she has worked
tirelessly with individuals and groups in various planning processes
at community, agency, interagency, and state levels. She is the
2004 recipient of the Mental Health Associations Fred Funari Award of
Distinction due to her dedication to the improvement of services and
community resources for children and youth, the 2007 recipient of the
Dr. Anthony F. Ceddia Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Juvenile
Justice, and the 2008 recipient of the Pennsylvania Association of
Probation, Parole and Corrections Juvenile Probation Officer of the
Year Award. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Mental
Health America of Westmoreland County. Her expertise in planning and
development has been honed throughout her career in social services
and government. Of note, she currently serves on the Criminal
Advisory Board for Westmoreland County, consults on a judiciary ad
hoc committee, and is a sought after speaker and trainer in the
Eastern United States. |
